Peaches is a 4 year old female English Cocker Spaniel cross Poodle. Peaches came in to us in poor condition, her coat was matted beyond anything that could be saved and so the only choice we had was to shave her completely. She is feeling so much more comfortable and laid quietly whilst we clipped her. We are sure she must have been so very uncomfortable bless her.
She is a funny little girl who clings to her humans, where you are Peaches will be. She will need someone who has the time to help her build her confidence. Peaches does not really interact with other dogs but we do feel she is going to be better placed with one other resident dog to help her confidence. For this reason she will need new owners who are around for a good part of the day and who can build up the time she is left for gradually.
Peaches loves people but as we have a limited history for her we can only re home with children 10+, she is fine with other dogs and takes no notice of the cats at all. She travels well in the car and after a few initial accidents has been clean in the house. She may have a few accidents initially but is soon clean.
Currently she looks very poodle, this is down to her lack of coat, and clipping. It will take some time for her coat to return and she will need owners able to either maintain her coat properly or take her to the groomers regularly. It would be terrible for her to even be in such a state again.
Peaches travels well in the car. She has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. She is currently being fostered in Tatsfield Surrey TN16.
