Guy is a 10-week old English Cocker Spaniel cross Bichon Frise who is being fostered in Bridgend, South Wales. Guy loves other dogs but he is a typical puppy and will pester them until they play with him.He currently lives with four cats so is learning all about boundaries and not to chase them. He travels well in the car – normally in a dog carrier – as he goes to work with his vet nurse foster mum. Guy loves to spend time in the garden. He enjoys the sunshine and loves to race around having a crazy few minutes letting off steam.
As Guy is not yet fully vaccinated (he will be by the time he goes to his new home) he has not yet been out on walks so lead training will need to be carried out by his new family. Housetraining is ongoing. Guy is crate trained and will happily take himself off to sleep in his when he gets tired – if there isn’t a lap available! We recommend that Guy is taken to puppy socialisation classes when settled in his new home. Guy is quite a mouthy pup who isn’t scared of anything. He loves to play and especially enjoys his rope, a duck and a Kong! We are looking for a family home for this little fella, with older children, where someone is at home for most of the day to help him with his ongoing training and socialisation.
Guy will be up to date with his vaccinations before going to his new home, is up to date with flea and worming treatment and is microchipped. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that Guy is neutered when he is six months old and we will carry out follow up checks. Potential adopters are expected to travel to visit Guy in his foster home in Bridgend, South Wales.
If you are interested in adopting Guy please read about our rehoming process and complete a Pre-Adoption form ( link here ) and one of our adoption coordinators will contact you for a chat.
