This is the very handsome Buddy. Buddy has come to us to find a new home, as his current owner cannot give him the exercise and time he needs. This is what Buddy’s owner has to say about him. He is a 3 year old Labrador cross English Cocker Spaniel. Both parents were working dogs and were seen. I have had him since he was 8 weeks old and his birthday is the 29th Aug 2012. He is fully house trained, has grown up with children, noise and a cat. He loves to bark and chase cats but he won’t hurt them, he just wants to play.
He is very playful and loves to play, he will destroy any plastic dogs toy to pieces in about 5 mintues. He loves a ball and when out walking he has brilliant recall and doesn’t tend to go off very far and is not very interested in other dogs. I found that I take 2 tennis balls with me, one to throw and a clean one in my hand to show him to get him to drop the other ball. He is very submissive with other dogs and sometimes can get a bit timid if the other dog is chasing him or barking at him. He isn’t very good on the lead as he is very strong and pulls so I use a haltie.
He is trainable as me and the children have trained him using treats to sit, give paw, wait for food and lie down. He loves a bone and will spend days chewing one till there’s nothing left. He is used to being left on his own and I leave the radio on for him and he has a dog flap so he is used to coming in and out when he wants. He is crated at bedtime as this is what he is used to. I really love this dog as he is so loving and total adores us but I cannot give him the time, attention and walks he needs and deserves. Buddy is Castrated, chipped, and Fully vaccinated.
Can you offer this gorgeous boy the home he needs ?
